What a phone reading with me is actually like

If you've never had a reading — or you've had one that felt like theater — here's exactly what to expect when I call.

Before the call

Once you book, I email you within a business day to set our time. If you shared what you'd like to focus on, I sit with that beforehand. Some readers go in cold as a point of pride; I'd rather arrive prepared.

The first few minutes

We talk. Like people. You tell me what's on your mind — as much or as little as you want. You don't have to perform mystery, and neither do I. Then I shuffle while we're speaking, and when the deck feels settled, I draw.

The reading itself

I tell you what I see — the cards on the table, and what comes through around them. I'm an empath, and I read with my guides; sometimes what arrives is bigger than the spread in front of me. When that happens, I'll say so plainly.

Two things I promise:

• No doom. If a hard card comes up, we talk about what it's naming and what's in your hands. I will never leave you frightened and call it insight.
• No vague. "Big changes are coming" is not a reading. You'll leave with something specific enough to use on a Tuesday.

The end of the call

We close with the thread that ties the reading together — the one thing to carry with you. You're welcome to take notes, or to just listen and let it land.

Then we hang up, and the reading keeps working. The best ones do.
